When I made my reservations with the Carmel Mission Inn, I was concerned about getting four rooms close together so that my elderly mother would be able to remember where we were. I was assured that the hotel could accommodate me and they did - four rooms in a row. The cost was very reasonable and the location was great - free and easy parking with the property backed up to the Barnyard. We were able to stay in the hotel for breakfast or walk to "From Scratch" in the Barnyard for breakfast - both good options. The hotel set up massages in room for people in our party which were great. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The bathrooms were also very spacious and comfortable. The location was easy to get into and our of downtown Carmel either from Ocean Avenue or the back way by way of Rio Road. The desk staff was extremely helpful during our stay - recommending restaurants. We also ate at the hotel and had a very good dinner there. Overall, I had a great time in the hotel and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an excellent deal and doesn't need to stay in downtown Carmel.
