Pet-Friendly Hotel in Carmel

Bring your four-legged companion with you on your travels to California’s Central Coast and enjoy special accommodations designed exclusively for your dog or cat. Our designated pet-friendly rooms are located on the ground level for easy lawn access and feature hard floors for optimum hygiene.  

Your dog or cat are also welcome to socialize in our lobby and courtyard.

Please note: Dogs and cats are allowed in our designated pet-friendly rooms only. For the safety of your pet and our guests, unattended pets must be crated inside your guest room. Shearwater Tavern's indoor dining room and pool area are not pet-friendly.

    At any given time, the quaint streets of Carmel-by-the-Sea and its white sandy beaches are replete with pet owners proudly parading their four-legged family members. Many businesses cater to dogs with everything from doggie fashion, freshly baked treats, spa services, and pooch-party planning. You'll find numerous restaurants with pet-friendly sections, both indoors and out, featuring special menus. Dogs love the off-leash experiences on Carmel Beach and hiking on dog friendly trails in Big Sur and Carmel Valley.
