17 Mile Drive

17 Mile Drive is the much heralded scenic road through Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach California. Much of 17 Mile Drive runs along the Pacific Ocean and there are numerous viewpoints to stop and enjoy the scenic beauty. 17 Mile Drive also provides access to the famed golf courses in Pebble Beach. One famous landmark on 17 Mile Drive is the “Lone Cypress Tree”. This ocean pruned tree is the official symbol of Pebble Beach and is used in many publications or advertisements depicting the area. There are limited public services along 17 Mile drive and they can be found at the Lodge at Pebble Beach or the Inn at Spanish Bay. 17 Mile Drive is a toll road and the current fee if $9.50.
